Review : Harajuku Lovers Lil' Angel Perfume

This perfume is my favourite spring and summer scent because it is fresh and floral. However I usually go for a more fruity scent. This perfume was given to me for christmas around two years ago and I never used it, until now. I usually use Rihanna's Rebelle perfume but it is more of a winter scent as it is quite heavy, whereas the Lil' Angel  is light.

There are a wide range of Harajuku perfumes by Gwen Stefani and are all based on the Japanese fashion. Sadly you can't buy these fragrances in shops any more, but they are available on some fragrance websites. I am so happy that I discovered this perfume, it is definitely one of my favourites.

Review : I Love... raspberry and blackberry Super Soft Hand Lotion.

I have been using the I Love... hand lotions for around a year and half and they haven't disappointed me once. You can get a wide range of the I Love... products from Superdrug in all different scents from strawberries and cream to mango and papaya. They are also incredibly cheap as well since the hand cream is around £2!
So far I have only tried the raspberry and blackberry and the coconut and cream one and they are divine.
I much prefer the raspberry and blackberry one because it is more fruity and fresh than the coconut one.
The formula of the hand cream is great. It is slightly think and non greasy which is key when you want nice hydrated hands.

Since the cream is quite thick, you don't need a lot of the product. I usually use around a pea size amount and then rub my hands together. Since you don't need a lot, you don't have to keep going out and buying a new bottle every month (unless you use is religiously.)

Spring Nails

Spring is all about pops of colours and pastels, so I thought I would do a post on spring nails. I have worn these colours on my nails for special occasions and everyday and they can me altered to how you like.

My first nail look is a bright pastel blue with specks of glitter. On this photo I am wearing Barry M's Blueberry Ice Cream and Barry M's Diamond Glitter. This look was created when I painted my nails with the blue and wanted an accent nail, but it didn't look right so I put the glitter on all my nails and it looked amazing. I really like this nail look for spring as you can wear a plain outfit and this nail look just gives a little more pizazz.

My next nail look is baby pink nails with a pink glitter accent nail. Both polishes are from Barry M (no surprise there.) this glitter polish is thicker than the other so it doesn't let the block pink polish through. This look is very versatile, which I love with nail polish. I love how the glitter in this nail look catches the light and sparkles.

This is the final nail look and is more simple than the other two but is a lot  bolder with colour. this nail polish is by Cairuo, which is very hard to pronounce. This colour was very hard to pair a glitter with so I just left on it's own.

Chocolate Cornflake Buns

Since it is Easter me and my friend decided to make cornflake buns.
For this you will need:

  • a box of cornflakes or you can use shredded wheat
  • a bar of chocolate
  • and decorations

We first started off by breaking up the bars of chocolate we had and putting the pieces into a glass  bowl. We then place the glass bowl onto of a pan of boiling water on the hob. This way you melt the chocolate without burning it.

Once the chocolate had fully melted we added the cornflakes. You can add as little or many as you want, depending on how much chocolate you have. (We sent someone out for more. Hehe.) You then have to mix well, until all the cornflakes are covered.

Once you have finished, spoon the mixture into bun cases and place on a tray. Then place in the fridge to set.

Norfolk/Great Yarmouh

This post is the start of a new series on my blog so I hope you enjoy.

This weekend my mum, nan, sisters and I all went down to Great Yarmouth which is in Norfolk for a girly trip out and because my mum had a meeting.

On Sunday, we travelled for 4 hours down to Norfolk. When we arrived we checked into our hotel and wondered around the sea front for a bit. We then went shopping in the shopping centre near where we were and then went for a drink in The Troll Cart pub.
Later that evening we went back to the pub for tea. To be honest, the food was absolutely amazing. I had a jacket potato with BBQ pulled pork and coleslaw.

On Monday my mum had a meeting so my sisters, nan and myself all went for a stroll on the sea front. We spent an hour in a single arcade and won four little buddha statues and two me 2 u keyrings. When we had finished spending a fortune in the arcades we went onto the Wellington Pier and played a game of ten pin bowling.
When we finished, we met up with my mum and got some fish and chips. They were so tasty.
When we were finished we drove to a retail park and did a little shopping before we went home but I didn't get anything.
When I got home at 19:00 I was absolutely shattered so I unpacked and went straight to bed.

These are a few pictures I took whilst on my little roadtrip

OOTD/OOTN - The Skirt and Shirt Edition

On 5th April 2014, myself and a friend went shopping for the afternoon and then hopped on the tram to Valley Centertainment to go for a meal at The Flaming Dragon. For all you who aren't familiar about this restaurant, it is basically an all you can eat chinese restaurant. The food was absolutely gorgeous and didn't disappoint me one bit. However I tried sushi which I will never go near again. It tasted like cod liver oil which I absolutely hate. Overall the day was brilliant.
In the morning I had trouble picking what to wear since we were going out for a meal but I didn't want to look too smart or too casual, so I opted for my black New Look skater skirt, my blue New Look shirt, my black New Look cardigan, tights and my black chelsea boots. I also wore my pandora bracelet, my purple diamonte bracelet and my purple stone bracelet.

What's In My Bag

Since I am going out tomorrow, I thought that I should do a what's in my bag post because I will obviously be taking a bag.
My bag is a few years old and is no longer available. I bought it around two years ago from New Look for around £18.

First of all I have a my phone which is a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini in white and the case on it is from eBay. I also have a box of chewing gum in my bag because I want nice minty breath. As well as my chewing gum I also carry a mirror from Sharm El Sheikh, a Primark Strawberry lip balm and a hair brush. To stop my hands from drying out I have a Superdrug Hand Therapy Hand Lotion in my back which works wonders. I also carry a roll on deodorant and a body spray. (see my March Favourites post to read about the body spray.)
I also have my keys and many keyrings and my Lorenz Collection purse. I also carry cold and flu tablets, ibuprofen tablets and some soothers or strepsils. Usually I carry my headphones but I couldn't find them.
